This position is assigned to the McDowell County Parks and Recreation Department. Work hours will routinely be Monday through Saturday and occasionally evening and partial weekend days. Physical requirements are standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, and working in an office environment.
The person in this position will serve as a Shooting Range Office Manager during all hours of operation. Overseeing all aspects of the Range Office including but not limited to; Opening the Shooting Range Office, providing customer service, checking in customers and operating a Point of Sales system. Other specific duties and responsibilities will be discussed with applicant at the interview process.
Candidate must possess a valid NC driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle.

Physical Demands and Working Enviroment
Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping. feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Must be able to perform light work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently; and/or a negligble amount of force constantly to move objects.
Must possess the visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, perform accounting tasks, operate a computer terminal, do extensive reading, and drive a motor vehicle.
