Facility Maintenance

The McDowell County Maintenance Department has the responsibility of maintaining all County-owned buildings and grounds. There are 12 maintenance personnel and 4 custodians.

 

Our Purpose: 

 

To keep all County Facilities and Grounds in the most serviceable, safe and attractive condition possible in accordance with applicable federal, state and municipal regulations and standards.  To renovate and improve public service work areas therefore, providing maximum safety, security and efficiency for employees and citizens.  To answer all work order requests quickly and efficiently therefore, allowing a smooth operation for employees and the citizens they serve.
