Position Objectives

The purpose of this position is to provide NC Certified Appraiser level of work for the department. This position will work with others in the Appraisal Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

To perform a variety of duties involved in the discovery, administration and appraisal of Real Property within the county tax jurisdiction.

Assist in other areas within the department

Minimum Requirements

Desirable Training and Experience

Completed all requirements to obtain status as a certified appraiser in North Carolina. Either recognized by the DOR or as a fee appraiser with the ability to obtain DOR certifications within the next two years. However, we will train the right candidate if needed.

 

Two years’ experience working in county government or a combination of a related education back ground and experience.
