Duties and Responsibilities

Driving trucks, front end loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, forklifts. Any other equipment that is required for this position. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. This position operates under the standard daily operating procedure of an Equipment Operator, using heavy equipment related to job performed. Performs any daily safety equipment checks. May require operating scales on part time basis. Reports public complaints/concerns to Transfer Station Supervisor.


This position is full-time with a 40 hour work week. Work days will be Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Outside 95% Inside 5%

Desirable Training and Experience

Experience driving heavy equipment required.
