Assist taxpayers at counter and by phone
Research and prepare tax accounts for collections
Prepare department reports
Other duties as assigned
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to deal professionally and tactfully with the public
Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
Advanced computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel
High school graduation
Pre-employment drug screening is required.
NC License is required
Desirable Training and Experience
Two years of experience in an office environment performing clerical and accounting work
Experience in collecting of delinquent accounts/debts
Benefited after 90 days
