McDowell County tax bills are available for searches and online payments. You can pay real estate, personal property and business personal property tax bills online using a credit card, debit card, and online check. Telephone payments can be made by calling 877-768-5055. A vendor processing fee will be charged for each transaction, for online payments and payment by phone.
Important Information
Online payments are not posted until data is received from the payment administrator; usually the next business day.
Online payments will not automatically resolve garnishments caused by late payment. In these cases, contact Tax Collections at 828-652-0701.
