The Town of Old Fort is home to Lindley Park and the Old Fort Pool. The facilities are leased to McDowell County by the Town of Old Fort.
Lindley Park features two lighted ballfields, one small ballfield, a playground area, tennis courts, two picnic shelters, and a concession stand.
Across Catawba River Road from Lindley Park is the Old Fort Pool. This facility is open during the summer months for recreational swimming and pool parties.
