Must be able to operate Heavy Equipment & drive truck. Driver Operator will load open top trucks with Recyclables, Cardboard & Glass. This position will also be responsible for keeping the yard clean and free of debris. Must have mechanical knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment and trucks, with the ability to perform daily service work on all equipment.
Driving and Operating Class B heavy trucks, front end loaders, forklifts and any other equipment that is associated with this position. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life. Performs all daily safety equipment checks and operator maintenance of above equipment. Reports all public complaints/concerns to Deputy Director.
Accountability: Reports to Public Service Director/Deputy Director
Environmental: Outside 95% Inside 5%
